What brings you joy? And how often do you do it? This may not be an easy question to answer. Life can feel full of "Have Tos" that drown out the "Want Tos".
Let's get together and create a Joy Jar!
This fun, interactive, online workshop is for anyone looking to balance out the intensity and overwhelm you may be feeling at this time of year. A Joy Jar is an effective, fun and easy tool that can help.
This workshop is kid-friendly. Bring the whole family!
We'll start with some fun yoga-based moves (5 to 10 minutes) and a little guided relaxation.
Then, have your supplies ready to create a Joy Jar. We'll do it together, giving you examples and sharing experiences to spark your "oh, yas!" and "ah ahs."
You'll also get inspired to add to it ongoing.
It can be as simple or fancy as you like.
Bring:
- a jar, basket or bowl
- your notebook, journal or other writing paper
- additional paper you can cut into strips (like construction paper, origami paper, etc)
- scissors (or just tear the strips)
- markers, color pencils, glitter gel pens
- stickers, cotton pom poms, any and all decorating supplies you have around the home
"Go forth into the busy world and love it. Interest yourself in its life; mingle kindly with its joys and sorrows." Ralph Waldo Emerson
